אחרי שנה סוערת ומסעירה, אנחנו כל כך שמחים להכין תוכנית מדהימה ומרתקת לשנת 2023.

פברואר 2023 – GNBY – Czech
Strange tying & bizarre suspensions.
“This world does not have a map, do not allow yourself to be limited and create yourself your own!”
By this sentence from a book of Terry Pratchett, we can approximately describe an unorthodox style of tying, which created Prague based rigger Ganboj.
In this workshop, GNBY will give you a glance into his philosophy of tying, he will show you some of his possible weird variants on classical patterns and will explain the principles, which are fundamental in his work and style. We will also pay attention to aesthetics and the shaping of a human body into unnatural positions.
Day 1 – 17.2.23 – 10:00-17:00
This class will feature full body manipulation – how to use all of the rigger's body (arms, legs, torso…) to manipulate their partner, how to stay close together during the tie.
We will also focus on Shibari being an activity between two human beings, and not just about ropes.
On top of that, GNBY will be teaching his original chest/body harnesses.
Day 2 – 18.2.23 – 10:00-16:00
Our second day will be about suspension – power dynamics between rope partners, transitions, rotation, and how to work effectively with the body in the air. We will also teach how to safely use the corners of the bamboo for our main suspension lines.
Shownight – 18.2.23 – 20:00
As always, to conclude our workshop, GNBY will hold a small performance in the studio on Saturday night, just before the jam starts. We will get a chance to see what Shibari is for GNBY and his perspective in ropes.
The show will be followed by our regular jam, and is open to all – not only those who attended the workshop.
