Wlada’s Master Workshop

As we all know, the corona virus ruined all of our plans. At Ka-sure, some of these plans included bringing to Israel a whole series of Shibari artists to teach at our studio. So after we finished cursing the corona and learned to live with the changes that have taken place in the world in the last two years, we are happy to return to full activity.

We’ve already had several visitors teaching all sorts of interesting things in the last few months, and now it is finally time for Wlada’s return visit.

For those who don’t know, Wlada is an unique rigger, in fact one of the leaders of the Shibari scene in Moscow, and one of the founders and producers of the Moscow Knot Shibari festival for many years. All in all, a leading and well-known rigger in the international rope scene.

Her unique style includes pushing the limits of human ability, with a combination of unique ties – some of which she developed herself – together with a ceaseless development in her tireless search for the next challenge.

Now this time we’ll diversify and change the order of things a bit – we’ll start our visit with a fascinating show on 3/9/22, followed by a special three-day workshop, during which Wlada will allow anyone who wants a glimpse of her unique style to join us.

The workshop will be in the format of three separate days, with each day standing on its own so that those who cannot make it to all the meetings can still participate and enjoy themselves.

First lesson – 6.9.22 – groundwork. 19:00-23:00

A session on the ground can take us on a complete journey within ourselves – an exciting, wonderful journey between pain and pleasure, playing with the senses,

Without ever going up in the air, there’s the sense of grounding and security of floorwork, but that doesn’t mean some spice and action cannot be added if you’re creative enough. Not to mention, lots of room for communication and interaction.

Wlada takes groundwork to a new place and will reveal exciting possibilities and challenges for both riggers and bunnies

Second lesson – 7.9.22 – air ties and suspension: 19:00-23:00

Wlada combines bamboo in her air ties in a very special way.

In the workshop tonight we will be presented some new, devious ways to tie (that she has not yet revealed in previous workshops).

With her help you can expand your repertoire of positions and transitions in a creative way that will challenge both sides of the rope.

Wlada is known for her creativity and innovation and the fact that she challenges the familiar and the known every time anew, usually leaving us speechless at the end result.

In this meeting Wlada will have all the freedom to push the boundaries of her imagination and show us new possibilities to experiment with under her guidance.

The cost of the workshop for all three sessions – 1200 NIS per couple.

The cost of each session separately – 450 NIS 450 per couple.

The cost of the workshop (be it all three or just one), automatically includes free entry to the show that will take place on September the 3rd.
